Youngins slay Madagascar

The Kenya U20 rugby side has beaten Madagascar 51-13 to reach the Barthes U20 Trophy South final in Windhoek, Namibia on Wednesday 28 March 2018. 

Chipu led 27-13 at the interval and will face Namibia on Saturday March 31, 2018 in the South final after the defending champions beat Zimbabwe 27-17. 

The winner of Kenya-Namibia will face the winner of Tunisia-Senegal at the Africa U20 final after the two sides reached the North region final with wins over Ivory Coast and Morocco respectively.

Kenya scored seven tries, two penalties and five conversions against Madagascar's converted try and two penalties. 

Mark Mutuku(2), Monate Akuei, Xavier Bett(2), Jeff Mutuku and Victor Matiko scored for Kenya as Bett converted three tries and scored one penalty contributing 19 points to the win. Joshua Macharia converted two tries.
