Kabras Sugar fullback Philip Wokorach will miss the first leg of the Elgon Cup between his Country Uganda and Kenya Simbas in Kisumu on Saturday, June 22 after being left out of the 23-man traveling squad.
Wokorach has had a busy season with Kabras that included Kenya Cup, Enterprise Cup as well as Dubai, Cape Town and Hong Kong 7s with his national sevens side.
Raga House understands he has taken a break but no word on when he will return to national action.
The Uganda Cranes squad was named on Monday at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.
Other Kenya based played named in the squad are Quins trio of Aaron Ofoyrwoth, Daudi Semwami and Adrian Kasito, Kabras Sugar's Asuman Mugerwa and Eliphaz Emong as well as Impala's Saul Kivumbi and Joseph Kagimu from USIU.
The team is expected to arrive in Kisumu on Thursday 20 June.
The Kenya Simbas squad to play Uganda will be named on Tuesday at 4.30pm by head coach Paul Odera.
