Championship side Ng'ong RFC will on Saturday 2 February 2019 draw a beeline to the RFUEA Grounds for one of the biggest games of their lives where they face Kenya Harlequin in the pre-quarterfinals of the Enterprise Cup starting 4pm.
The second tier side comes to the game with an objective; to learn lessons in the event they lose the game - as many expect - to build a competitive edge and capacity for the championship league.

According to skipper Endro Otieno the team will be giving no walkover to Quins and are instead psychologically building up for the matchup.
"That's a very big game for us, it’s an uphill task but we will go for it," started team skipper Endro Otieno to Raga House.
"It will be very good competition, it’s a morale booster. We are looking to see how we fare against a big team like Quins,"
"It's pretty good challenge for us and more of a learning curve. We have players who have not played big game rugby and it’s a good opportunity for them to step up, this is their time. Such challenges bring out the best out of people,"
"It's a very big task playing against international players but what’s the worst that can happen? Nothing. We will go and play our hearts out, sometimes you never know. We sat down and said let’s take the bulls by the horns,"
"We want to give a chance to all our players in this game but off course we will start with our best players first,"
"From this game the morale for us in our next game will be very high." summed Endro
The winner of the Quins-Ng’ong RFC duel will proceed to the pre-quarterfinal to face Champions Homeboyz.
This year’s Enterprise Cup is a little different as it’s expanded to beyond Kenya Cup teams roping in Championship and a select list of nationwide teams.
Other than Ng'ong, the other Championship outfits drawn for the competition include Masinde Muliro (MMUST), Kisii RFC, UoE Trojans, Western Bulls, Egerton Wasps, Kisumu RFC, South Coast Pirates, Mombasa RFC and Cathoic Monks. Moi University and JKUAt are the teams from the only teams from the Nationwide.
