Kenya Harlequins' false start to the 2019/20 Kenya Cup continued on matchday 3 as they lost 19-21 to promoted side Western Bulls at home, on Saturday Nov 9, 2019.

Both Bulls and Quins hadn't won a game in the new season but it was Bulls who bagged their first win in style after picking a losing bonus in their defeat to Oilers last weekend.

Western Bulls' centre Derrick Ashiundu scored a hattrick in the second half as Bulls came from 0-19 at halftime to score 21 answered points in the last 40.

Iddi Kakai, Patrice Agunda and David Ambunya had scored for Quins in the first half with Kakai and Agunda's tries being converted but the Ngong road couldn't hold on to the lead.

Quins' hunt for a first win of the season will continue on matchday 4 when they head to Top Fry Nakuru while Western Bulls will seek to build up on the win against Homeboyz at Jamhuri Park.
