Prinsloo Sevens MVP Philip Kwame of Nakuru was named to the Kabeberi Sevens dream team at the close of the event in Machakos on Sunday 19 August.

It is the second time he is appearing in a dream team following on a similar mention during Sepetuka Sevens at the close of July in Eldoret.

Kwame is joined by two Homeboyz forwards Brian Wandera and Alvin Buffa Otieno who helped the deejays to the Kabeberi title. Two other Homeboyz players Johnstone Olindi and skipper Leonard Mugaisi also make the list as backs.

While Mugaisi is appearing in a dream team for the first time this season, Olindi is making a second straight show just as Kwame as he had been named to the Sepetuka sevens All star list.

Singapore sevens winner Frank Wanyama of Kenya Harlequins and Blak Blad playmaker Brian Wahinya complete the list.

Separately, Mugaisi was named as the Most Valuable player at Kabeberi sevens as three others; Wanyama of quins, Derrick Ayange of Kabras sugar and Ahmed Shaban of KCB were named as the top try scorers as each landed six tries.
