Kelvin Wambua, the Mwamba head coach, has effected five changesĀ  to the squad that went down to KCB in readiness of their showdown with Nondies in the plate semi finals of the Impala Floodies.

Wambua has also included two new arrivals on the bench in Eugene Nzioka, formerly with Strathmore Leos, and Elvis Namusasi, an ex Mombasa flyhalf.

In the back-row Mike Okwaro shifts to the base of the scrum from blindside in the absence of Tony Owour, with Pharell Mtani packing down the openside thus pushing last weekend's starter, Collins injera, to the replacements. Yahya Hassan completes the trio.

Steve Sikuta has been called into the engine room to replace Hulk Asira and he will partner with Gedion Mbithi. Further up, Brian Otieno has been trusted with the loosehead prop slot at the expense of Alfred Yuko.

Martin Ogugi forms a half-back combo with Brian Mwangi, who comes in for Mike Agevi. Out wide, Mike Okello shifts from left wing to right wing to accommodate the returning Greg Odhiambo.
