USIU continued with their impressive form in the Championship registering their sixth win of the season as they beat JKUAT 22-3 on Saturday, February 17.
USIU’s win, without a bonus, moves them to 24 points at fourth place overtaking Catholic Monks who return to action next weekend.
The defeat leaves JKUAT under serious relegation threats as they remain with only one win at 12th with six points.
Charles Kuka bagged a brace for USIU as Junior Onyango also got on target with Eliud Mulakoli doing the kicking.
South Coast Pirates were other winners of the day beating Ngong RFC 23-12 also in a postponed clash played in Ukunda, Kwale County. Timothy Osija, Ramtu Hassan, Habib Zuga and Joseph Musyoki scored for Pirates with Kevin Amiani slotting a penalty. Brian Adera scored Ngong's two tries.
The bonus win sees Pirates move three places up to sixth with 18 points as Ngong drops to eighth.
