Ugandan international Joseph Aredo is in line to make his debut for Kenya Harlequins during this weekend’s Christie 7s at RFUEA grounds.
Aredo joined alongside Solomon Okia but was involved with Uganda Sevens thus delaying his debut. He joins from Uganda Cup side Betway Kobs where he won the league, Uganda Cup and Sevens.
He was instrumental for Uganda’s qualification to the Sevens World Cup scoring a number of tries throughout the weekend.
Quins team manager Jim Mnene told Raga House “Aredo is in training and is up for selection this weekend depending on training.”
Aredo was named in the Quins team to play at Kabeberi 7s before making a late change that saw Godfrey Okoth take his place.
Aredo’s new team is in pool A with top seeds Kabras Sugar, Strathmore Leos and MKU Thika.
