TUM set for MMUST

Coastal outfit TUM Marines have named their travelling party to Kakamega in readiness for a clash with host Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST)  in the quarters of the nationwide on Saturday 5 May. 

Eighth man Ben Wesonga skippers the side to Kakamega. He plays at the tail end of the scrum that has Collins Bosire, Sammy Kinuthia, Charlton Bosire, Moses Nyakundi and Lazarus Okello in the tight five with Brian Okello and Elias Gitonga joining in as flankers.

Onesmus Kibet, Edgar Mbaru, Arnold Odhiambo, Dennis Onyancha, Frederick Abuga, Sam Gitau and Sam Nyangau  are the backs for the game while Peter Wanjala, David Onyiso, and  Martin Otieno are part of the cast on the bench. 

To hit the quarters proper TUM Marines started out in the pre-quarters where they beat visiting MKU Thika 11-0 in Mombasa last weekend. MMUST on their part made the last eight after winning the Nationwide Western Regional league final with a 22-5 win over Maseno University in Kakamega on Saturday 21 April 2018.
