Kenya Rugby Union leagues and fixtures committee declared the off-season transfer window will be from September 5, 2021, to November 12, 2021, at 11:59 pm as per a memorandum to clubs seen by Raga House.

Kenya Cup, Championship and Nationwide leagues are tentatively set to kick-off in November with Raga House understanding the clubs have already been furnished with draft fixtures.

“We are working on having a confirmation on the start of the new season but as per regulation, the window will close 14 days to the start of hence be advised that ample notice will be given on the same,” read the memorandum.

“Clubs are reminded that all loan players revert back to the mother clubs and a new full transfer process should be initiated for those affected. Clubs are asked to adhere to KRU transfer regulations- especially regarding completion of the transfer.”

Homeboyz RFC coach Simon Odongo confirmed they will be competing in the 2021/22 Kenya Cup season after missing out in 2021.
