Kabras Sugar’s Philip Wokorach is in prime position to finish as the 2018/19 Kenya Cup top try scorer as he leads the scoring chart with 23 touch downs.

Wokorach is five tries ahead of second placed Collins Injera of Mwamba with two regular matchdays to go and the playoffs.

Kabras Sugar lead the Kenya Cup log with 64 points while Injera’s tries have helped Mwamba stay in contention of a playoff spot unlike last season where they didn’t make it.

Kabras Sugar’s fine season also reflects in the top try scorers list as four players are in the top 10. Scrum-half Brian Tanga is third with nine tries while Felix Ayange, Mario Wilson and Claude Johannes have seven, seven and six tries respectively.

Blak Blad’s Archadeus Khwesa is fourth with eight tries while Derrick Keyoga of Menengai Oilers, Steve Odhiambo of Nondies and KCB’s Oliver Mangeni have seven, seven and six tries too to make the top 10.
