Lanky international loose-forward Tony Owour will make his maiden appearance for Mwamba RFC when they take to the pitch to face KCB RFC in the Floodies quarter finals on Saturday 13 October starting 17.50pm.
Owour, who was part of the contingent that left Strathmore in 2016, has been on the sidelines since sustaining a knee injury while representing Homeboyz at the Nanyuki 7s in September, 2016; he will operate from the base of the scrum with Kenyan speedster Collins Injera, normally a back, and Mark Okwaro as the flankers.
"Mwamba will approach the 37th edition of Floodies with the zeal it requires. It is here that we’ll understand if our structures are worthy of deployment when the Kenya Cup season starts,” he affirms." said Director of Rugby Edwin Waita, as quoted by impalasaracens.com at the point of confirming participation
