Kenya 7s head coach Paul Feeney assured clubs national sevens players will be available for Kenya Cup and Enterprise Cup finals.
Kenya Cup final is set for Saturday April 4, 2020 while Enterprise Cup final will be played on Saturday April 18 a week after the Great Rift 10-a-side.
Kenya 7s were set to head to Hong Kong 7s on April 3-5 but that leg was postponed by World Rugby in response to continued health concerns relating to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

The Enterprise Cup final was to be played a week after Singapore 7s but given that has also been postponed Kenya 7s players will be free to play for their clubs.
“We will continue with our plans after the Enterprise Cup final so the players will be available for the Kenya Cup and Enterprise Cup final so they can all be able to play and showcase in the Kenya 15s final,” said Feeney after naming the squad to LA 7s.
This will be a big boost to sides like KCB, Kabras Sugar, Homeboyz, Impala and Mwamba who have a number of players in the national sevens team.
KCB will have Andrew Amonde, Jacob Ojee, Vincent Onyala, Johnstone Olindi and Geoffrey Okwach up for selection while Kabras will have flanker Dan Sikuta available.
Favorites Homeboyz will be free to pick Jeff Oluoch, Alvin Otieno and Bush Mwale providing options on the wing that’s already exploding.
“We want to have a camp after the finals so that they can represent their local clubs and showcase the best talent,” added Feeney.
