Routine wins for KCB, Kabras

It was another day in the office for Kenya Cup leaders Kabras Sugar and KCB bagging big wins on matchday 11 of the 2019/20 regular season on Saturday Jan 18.

Kabras saw off visiting Kenya Harlequin 34-3 at the Bull Ring while KCB beat hosts Kisumu RFC 7-55. Kabras stay top on 50 points while KCB follow with 49 points. 

KCB led 7-24 at halftime after tries by Samuel Asati, Essau Otieno and Brian Omondi with Moses Ongonya converting Erastus Wanyama's try for Kisumu RFC. Rocky Aguko, Essau Otieno, Asati, Francis Mwita and Nelson Nyandat were on the scoresheet in the second half. 

Brian Tanga and Jone Kubu scored two tries each for Kabras at the Bull Ring with Lyle Asiligwa scoring Kenya Harlequin’s sole penalty.
