Kenya Harlequins have confirmed two major signings from the just concluded Kenya mid-season transfer window.
Quins have acquired Ugandan international Scott Oluoch from Rhinos and 18-year-old center Kenya U20 international James McGreevy from Kenya Cup rivals Homeboyz.
Head Coach Charles Cardovillis was delighted to have completed the signings as Quins looks to start the year on a high.
“McGreevy is a young talented player who’s hungry to learn and play,” said Cardovillis. “He brings in more competition to what is already a talented backline we have at Quins. Healthy competition.”
“Scott adds beef, aggression and experience to our forward pack.”
Oluoch becomes the second Ugandan to have crossed to Kenya and specifically Ngong road this mid-season transfer window after Saul Kivumbi was confirmed at Impala Saracens last week.
Quins kick-off 2019 with a home match against Top Fry Nakuru before making a short trip to Mean Machine then Ngong road against Impala Saracens. They sit fourth with 16 points which is nine off leaders Kabras Sugar after five matches.
