Key points from Tuesday’s Kenya Rugby Union and Stanbic Bank press conference:
-Stanbic Bank Kenya reaffirmed it's sponsorship for the annual National Sevens Circuit.
-Abraham Ongenge theStanbic Bank KenyaChief Financial Officers announces the bank's sponsorship packages for the Union goes up by 60% from 9Million to 14.35Million.
-Following the increase in the sponsorship, host clubs will get Kshs. 1.4M for preparations. This is a 40% increase from last year where the club's got Kshs. 1M.
-The overall Division One winners, runners up and second runners-up will get prize money worth: Kshs. 500,000, 250,000 and 150,000 respectively.
-Overall Division Two Winners and runners up will claim the prize money of Kshs. 150,000 and 50,000 respectively.
-The circuit will feature one women's tournament, at the Christie 7s where the winner will take home Kshs. 100,000/-.
