Stanbic 7s heads to Nakuru County on Sat August 17 with Top Fry Nakuru set to host the fourth leg of the 2019 season at Nakuru Athletics Club over the two days.

Series leaders KCB will take on Northern Suburbs, Stanbic Mwamba RFC and Championship side Mombasa RFC in pool A.

Captain Davies Chenge leads the Lions as they seek to roar in Nakuru and win their third cup of the season after bagging the main cup in Kakamega and Kisumu last week.

The KCB squad named by head coach and former Kenya 7s international Dennis Mwanja has up to 10 internationals becoming one of the most experienced sides for the Prinsloo leg.

Former Kenya 7s captain Amonde, Sahddie, Onyala, Mikkey, Asati, Shaban, Olindi, Kenya 7s captain Ojee and Levy are those named among others.

Championship side Mombasa RFC will make their first div 1 appearance at Prinsloo 7s coming in as an invitational side.

Newton Malenya will lead the Coast-based side with Dennis Njagi named as his assistant by head coach Lewis Okaka. Halfbacks Elvis Namusasi and Gabriel Makatiani will hope to keep Mombasa RFC in the top division heading to Christie 7s and their home tournament, Driftwood 7s.

Making Mombasa's technical bench is S&C Carsten Atogo, videographer Isabel Opondo, physio Dolphin Mokeira and team manager Kevin O.Wambura.

Northern Suburbs Cubs named captain Brian Omondi, Patrick Ochieng, Benson Amadi, Brian Mutugi and Eugene Omondi among those to start in Nakuru. Others are Shem Okola, John Ngige, Mcsmith Mwenda, Samuel Otieno, Ismael Gorio and John Oyaro.

Stanbic Mwamba RFC have been dealt with a huge blow as co-captains Billy Odhiambo and Eliakim Kichoi are sidelined while Stephen Sikuta failed a late fitness test on Thursday evening.

“Billy has a hairline fracture in his right wrist, Eliakim has trouble with both his shoulders and knee while Sikuta has failed to recover from an ankle injury he picked from Kisumu last weekend,” Levis Kituyi, team physiotherapist told MwambaRugby.Com.

Tony Owuor will make his Sevens debut for Kulabu with another youngster Mellegy Tendwa getting the call up. Jeremy Chimwani and George Omolla have also been drafted into the squad. Hot prospect James Ochieng will take up the 13th man slot as reported by the official club's portal.
