Prinsloo 7s: Oilers cruise, Blad surprise Quins

Menengai Oilers hit Catholic Monks 36-0 at the Nakuru Athletics Club on Saturday morning to set off Prinsloo Sevens, the first leg of the six-part National Sevens Circuit.

The pool C opener then laid the groundwork for Impala to register a 40-7 win over Mombasa RFC in the second game. 

Game three lit the cold grounds as Varsity boys Back Blad tied fancied Kenya Harlequins 12-12 Inthe first pool B game.

Homeboyz took advantage of that draw to shoot to the top of the group with a 30-5 win over Kisumu in game 4.

Into game 5 that activated Pool A, Mwamba had the best possible start after seeing off Strathmore Leos 26-17.
