Homeboyz Prescott Cup defending champions Upper Hill started their defence campaign on a winning note beating Ofafa Jericho 21-13 on Saturday May 12, 2018 at Nairobi School.
Upper Hill went down 10-0 courtesy of fly half Brian Otieno's boot that saw him convert and slot a penalty in his 102nd match for Ofafa Jericho.

The national champions regrouped to take a 14-10 lead with two converted tries before adding another to win the game with three converted tries as Ofafa managed to add a penalty in the first half.
“We did not play as well as we would have wanted to but we were fortunate enough to come out with a win,” said Upperhill coach Powell Gwena. “We will have to go back to the drawing board and review our approach if we hope to win this year’s competition.”
Rift Valley Academy registered their second win of the season beating Mang'u 20-5. Three tries from winger Ben Akins, centre Gerald Jackson and flanker Janrich Volshenk as well Michael Smith's kicks ensured the Kijabe based side go home with a win. Mark Gitonga scored Mangu's unconverted try.
Lenana School opened the season with a 24-0 win over St.Mary's while Strathmore School lost 5-41 to Muhuri Muchiri.
RVA, who beat Strathmore 63-7 in their opening match, welcome Lenana School on Wednesday in a postponed match in Kijabe.
Prescott Cup takes a one week break to pave way for Blackrock Festival to be hosted at St.Mary's School. Action resumes on Saturday May 26 with the second festival at Lenana School.
