Pirates out of relegation zone, USIU upset Ngong

South Coast Pirates climb to ninth in the championship after beating JKUAT 10-0 in the sixth round on Saturday, January 20.

The win sees them bag four points to move from the bottom of the table to ninth with nine points. JKUAT drops to 12 as UoE enters relegation zone after their defeat to Menengai Oilers while Moi University lost to Egerton Wasps.

Kevin Amiani scored the only try in the win over JKUAT with Hajj Mohamed bagging drop goal and a conversion.

USIU beat Ngong RFC 8-5 in another championship clash to move to fourth after Kisumu and Catholic Monks suffered defeats.

Pirates host Machine in the seventh round with JKUAT set to make a short trip to USIU.
