After losing to Impala in the last time out, Nakuru RFC has named matchday 23 that will face Nondies in the penultimate round of the Kenya Cup this Saturday at NAC.

Ken Mwangi comes on for Joseph Kangethe at tighthead with Cassius Omollo moving from left wing to flank to replace David Namusasi who will start from the bench.

Another change made by head coach Mitch Ochola sees Moses Ngura start ahead of Meshack Ochieng who is not involved in the match while Collins Onyango comes in for Geoffrey Ominde.

Ominde is out with personal commitments while Meshack Ochieng just returned from a hamstring injury layoff.

Stakes are high in this match as both teams seek playoffs knowing may Strathmore lose to Impala they will have closed the gap ahead of the last match day.
“Stakes are higher than ever and we have to be at our best to get the win over a hungry Nondies side. The playoff berth remains our primary focus,” said Ochola.

Wanyore will go to 23 points if they win with a bonus and stay two points behind Leos may they(Strathmore) lose to Impala.A win for Strathmore over Impala will rule make it hard for both teams to reach playoffs.

The last matchday meeting Nakuru and Mwamba will bring last season's memory where Mwamba sneaked to cup quarters at the expense of Nakuru.
