Olindi, Amunga start as Ominde leads Oilers
By Eric Njiru | Fri 21 Feb, 2020 11:13

Johnstone Olindi will start at first five-eighth and Levy Amunga at second when KCB take on Menengai Oilers in the penultimate round of the 2019/20 Kenya Cup on Sat Feb 22 in Nairobi.

Olindi will not be traveling with Kenya 7s to America to get a second start in a row while Amunga is promoted from last week’s ESS tie.
Ahmed Shaban starts on the bench alongside scrum-half Michael Wanjala to see Samuel Asati start.

For a second game in a row Darwin Mukidza will start at fullback as fast-rising Isaac Njoroge returns on the wing as well as Michael Kimwele.
KCB are not yet assured of a direct semifinal berth as Homeboyz are five points behind with next week’s and final regular clash set to be away against the Deejayz.

Menengai Oilers sit fifth on 36 points but can still drop out of playoff if they lose while Nakuru and Mwamba win their final two matches.

Head Coach Gibson Weru looks to avoid any mistake by having Geoffrey Ominde captain the side at fly-half and Kevin Mburu at scrum-half.
Dalmus Chituyi, Rodgers Audi and Samuel Were form the backrow with Mark kwemoi at fullback, Derrick Mbaire and Nickson Mogire on the wing.

First leg meeting in Nakuru ended 13-43 to KCB.
