Kenyan International Cyprian Kuto has returned to Kenya Harlequins during the 2018 Kenya Cup mid-season transfer window, Quins said in a Facebook post.

Kuto joins Quins from Kenya Cup rivals Homeboyz where he spent two seasons. He left Quins in 2013 to Strathmore University where he featured for the side in the Kenya Cup.

His stint at Homeboyz was marked by national sevens circuit success in 2016 but was not a regular in Paul Murunga’s Kenya Cup side due to national team duties.

He plays as a wing and has represented both Kenya Sevens and Kenya Simbas.

Quins have also secured the services of another Strathmore boy, Alex Olaba. The Kenyan international still has one year remaining in his Bachelors of Telecommunication course at Strathmore University.

Raga House understands Olaba, who played for Kenya 7s under Paul Treu in 2014 then under Benjamin Ayimba in 2015-16, is training with Quins ahead of the Kenya Cup round five on Saturday, January 13, 2017.

Olaba joined Strathmore from high School.

Quins have gone shopping in Uganda yet again this time round at Rhinos RFC to secure the services of David Semwani.

The fourth signing is from arch-rivals Impala Saracens, Mtalaheri Matthew a brother to ESS captain Kevin Angote.
