Kenya 7s captain Jacob Ojee admits a few areas needs to be looked at before this weekend’s Paris 7s in the French capital.

Ojee and his charges are motivated going to the season finale as they seek to finish on a high and secure a place in next season’s series.

“Our restarts in London were good but we can definitely make them better and also improve on our defensive shape for an improved performance,Ojee told kru.co.ke

Kenya 7s is up against London 7s runners-up Australia, Wales and South Africa at Paris 7s with Cup quarters being the main target for Shujaa to sort things by day one.

Head coach Paul Murunga has been boosted by the arrival of forward Herman Humwa and scrum-half Michael Wanjala this week who replace Dan Sikuta and Daniel Taabu respectively.

Sikuta and Taabu suffered injuries in London and have since returned to Nairobi.

Shujaa is currently ranked 14th on the Series table with 27 points, two above the 15th placed Japan and three behind 13th placed Wales. The team is receiving a lot of support as they head into this tournament through the #KeepTheDreamAlive and #ForShujaa Hashtags from fans and local teams.
