Menengai Oilers are on the verge of reaching first Kenya Cup playoffs on second attempt with Saturday’s clash with Kenya Harlequin in the final leg of 2019/20 set to confirm their place.

Oilers head to the final matchday sitting seventh on 36 points, two behind sixth placed Top Fry Nakuru who were on Friday handed a walkover by Western Bulls. They need just two points to seal a playoff place as Nakuru have -70 points difference.

Nakuru’s chances of sneaking to Kenya Cup playoffs were quashed last weekend after losing to Kenya Harlequin who won 33-12.
