Former Strathmore and Mwamba star Tito Oduk believes Impala Saracens and Kabras Sugar will proceed to Kenya Cup semis this weekend.
Oduk is backing Impala to outdo Quins once again while Kabras will have a 10+ win over Strathmore Leos.
“Impala vs Quins is a dead heat as the tight result in the first leg attests. Whoever controls possession and most importantly territory in wet weather will win the match. Impala would be marginal favourites given they were tested in horrible conditions by KCB. Impala by 3-5 points,” Oduk told Raga House.
Impala will host the clash at Impala club weeks after winning the regular fixture at RFUEA grounds.
Kabras Sugar will be looking to return to a fourth straight semis since their promotion to the Kenya Cup but Oduk does not completely rule out Strathmore Leos.
“Kabras Vs Strathmore; Strathmore has folded against big teams when heat is applied on their forwards at scrum time and lineout. Kabras at home are a tough nut to crack but don't discount an upset as the Strathmore coach John Mbai is an astute student of the game and may just have a plan disrupt the hosts. Kabras by 10+”
In the semis, the winner of Impala/Quins will meet defending champions KCB and Homeboyz awaits the winner of Kabras/Strathmore Leos.
