Nondies winger and Uganda international James Odong has undergone a surgery on his knee in Uganda according to Uganda Rugby Union.
"Our thoughts go out to Rugby Cranes XVs and VIIs International, James Odong who is recovering at UMC Victoria Hospital after undergoing surgery to repair his torn knee ligaments. We wish him a quick recovery," said URU.
Odong suffered the knee injury against Morocco in the 2018 Africa Gold Cup to miss the rest of the tournament as well Nondescript's national sevens circuit.

Nondies kick off Kenya Cup 2018/19 against rivals Homeboyz RFC on November 17 as team manager Kevin Were says they expect him to be out for up to four months.
"He will be out for four months. We expect him to play in February(2019)."
His first match in February 2019 could be against Top Fry Nakuru, away which will be seven matches to Kenya Cup playoffs.
