Nondies have bagged their first win of the season in style beating Mombasa RFC 64-5 at Jamhuri Showground on Saturday, December 9, 2017.

Nondies ran in nine tries, three penalties and five conversions against Mombasa’s unconverted try.

Moses Begi bagged a brace with Mark Ongayo, Ernest Ngong and Fidel Oloo crossing over in the first half as fly-half Fielden Sinei sent in two penalties and made all conversions.

Centre Andrew Asena bagged Mombasa’s sole try early in the second half before Nondies replied with four unanswered tries through Joseph Wachira, Franz Obudo, Katoni Allan and Frank Mutuku. Obudo completed only one conversion in the second half.

They bag five points from the win and a bonus point as Mombasa leaves empty-handed for the third match in a row since their return to the Kenya Cup.

Nondies temporarily moves to seventh pending Nakuru and Mwamba’s games. Mombasa remains bottom going to match day 4.

Mombasa's next match is against Kabras Sugar in Mombasa while Nondies make a short trip to Impala Saracens.
