Nondies are dealt with a huge blow as winger Oscar Dennis is ruled out for a lengthy period following an injury at the Driftwood 7s on Sunday, September 3, 2017.
Dennis broke his collarbone on Sunday, day two of the Driftwood 7s before heading to a Mombasa hospital after which he was transferred to Aga Khan Hospital.
A broken collarbone, or fractured clavicle, is a common injury that usually happens after a fall or a blow to the shoulder. It takes about 6-8 weeks to heal in adults.
"It's very annoying especially as I have only just got back from my other surgery," Dennis told Raga House.
Nondies team manager Kevin Were says the surgery went on well and he will be released by 4pm on Tuesday.
The Australian based Kenyan international is set to link up with Bond University Rugby team in Australia in the course of the month of September.
He may not play in any other leg of the national sevens circuit.
At the Driftwood 7s, Nondies reached cup quarters going down to eventual winners Homeboyz RFC.
