Nondies have reshuffled their team ahead of the Jamhuri derby against Homeboyz on Saturday, December 1, 2017.
After the 8-0 defeat to Blak Blad on the opening day of the Kenya Cup, Nondies make up to eight change as they prepare to face an Homeboyz side they drew 28-28 with in the last day of last season.
Hooker Frank Mutuku is the only one who retains his slot on the front-row as Ernest Ngong and Brian Wasuna start replacing Robert Gitonga and Eric Shimoli.
Joseph Wachira and Henry Fullbright started at lock in the defeat to Blad but this weekend Fullbright will move to the blind-side as Fredric Muga gets to start.
Backrowers Brian Otieno and Brian Amaitsa are benched to pave way for Fullbright and Levis Ochieng as Fidel Oloo completes the pack.
With Peter Lugano away in South Africa, scrum-half Allen Katoni gets his first start while experienced fly-half Fielden Sinei replaces Marvin Sumba who moves to inside centre to pair Mark Ongayo who starts for the second weekend in a row after joining from Blak Blad.
Making the bench is Franz Obudo who is up for a competitive debut. Other finishers will be Wesley Odhiambo, Yassah Musa and Victor Obote.
Last season’s second leg meeting between Homeboyz and Nondies ended 28-28 while Homeboyz won the first clash 17-5. In the 2015/16 season, Nondies won 20-12.
