Nondies, Machine relegated ahead of Sepetuka 7s

Nondies and Mean Machine are relegated from the top division of National sevens circuit after losing their challenge trophy quarters at Prinsloo 7s on Sunday, September 24, 2017.

Nondies lost 17-10 to nationwide side MKU Thika while Mean Machine, who reached Driftwood 7s semis, went down 15-10 to invitational side Western Bulls.

Catholic University is also relegated after losing 29-5 to Impala Saracens while Mombasa lost 26-0 to Menengai Oilers.

The four relegated teams will play in the second division of Sepetuka 7s on Saturday, September 30 to be hosted by Homeboyz in Eldoret. Three of the four teams can, however, be invited by Homeboyz to take part in the top division. 

Nondies will now play Mombasa RFC in the 13th place semis as Catholic plays Mean Machine.

In the challenge semis, Impala takes on Western Bulls while MKU Thika will play Oilers.
