Nondies centre Oscar Dennis has been invited to attend a Sevens program by SAS Rugby Sevens Academy n Stellenbosch, South Africa.

A delighted Dennis told Raga House that he will be leaving for South Africa on Jan 12, 2019 to attend the Academy for five years "and I can focus on my rehab there for a little."

Stellenbosch Rugby Academy runs a Sevens program endorsed by South Africa Rugby Union(SARU) as a feeder academy for the Blitzboks, but also taking in foreign players to educate them on the game and get them to top level.

Oscar Dennis had been drafted in the Kenya 7s squad for 2018/19 season but did not take part in the opening legs- Dubai and Cape Town. He played for Samurai International that won Safari 7s in 2018 in Nairobi, Kenya.

Working with Stellenbosch Coaches will see Dennis hone his skills and him a World class.

Dennis was part of the Kenya 7s during the 2015/16 season but pulled out to attend a three-year Masters programme in Australia at Bond University where he also turned out for their side.

Stellenbosch Academy have a tournament in March against Irish and German Rugby Union as well as the USA reserves and this could see Dennis feature in.
