Kenya Cup tie between Kenya Harlequin and Mwamba RFC will be played on Sunday November 18 and not Saturday as scheduled.
Head Coach Charles Cardovillis said this is due to the planned burial of David 'Madilu' Gitau -a former Kenya Harlequin star that is set on Saturday.
The game was to kick-off at 4pm on Saturday alongside the rest of five Kenya Cup matches but Mwamba will have to head to Quins on Sunday from 4pm. Erich Shirley Shield(ESS) clash featuring Quins II and Mwamba II will also be played on Sunday from 2pm.
"Vandals will play Shamas(Nairobi Nationwide clash) at 12 on the same day," said Cardovillis. Madilu will be laid to rest in Kandara, Murang'a County on Saturday.
Rest of the Kenya Cup on matchday one will see Impala host Blak Blad, Nakuru visit Strathmore, Kabras welcome Mean machine, KCB host Menengai Oilers and Homeboyz take on Nondies at Jamhuri Park.
After hosting Mwamba, Quins will head to Jamhuri to play Homeboyz on matchday II of the 2018/19 Kenya Cup.
