Having failed to kick off on Saturday 19 May at the Kibiko Secondary school in Ngong, the Championship playoff clash between Ngong and Eldoret RFC has been dated fresh and will be played in Nakuru next Saturday.
This is according to a ruling by the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) League and fixtures committee that had a sitting on Monday to deliberate on the matter.
The Kibiko venue was termed as 'unplayable' due to the prevailing weather conditions leading to the aborted kick off.
Both teams will foot their own coast but Ngong will dig deeper as they have to cater for an ambulance as well as for pitch facilitation.
The team that loses this one-off tie will feature in the third tier nationwide league next year.
