Nakuru stage comeback as Homeboyz, Oilers bounce back

Top Fry Nakuru came from 3-20 at the interval to beat visiting Impala Saracens 30-20 in the sixth round of the 2019/20 Kenya Cup at NAC on Sat Nov 30.

Nakuru scored 27 points with no reply from Impala to secure a third of the season while handing Impala their second defeat of the season, after six rounds. 

Homeboyz, whose unbeaten run was ended last week by KCB, bounced back to winning ways beating Blak Blad 32-22 to register their fifth win of the season as Blad remain with only one win after six rounds. 

Menengai Oilers, who lost to Kenya Harlequin, beat visiting Nondies 27-6 in Nakuru to register their third win as Nondies remain with only one win and now drop to the relegation zone.

Oilers head coach Gibson Weru was delighted to return to winning ways as he looks forward to next week's clash with Blak Blad at Kenyatta University. Homeboyz head to Kisumu RFC on matcday 7, Top Fry Nakuru visit Nondies and Impala Saracens will be home to Kenya Harlequin.
