Top Fry Nakuru maintained a winning form beating cross-town rivals Menengai Oilers 19-17 in Nakuru on matchday 12 of the 2019/20 Kenya Cup regular season.

It was a sweet revenge for Wanyore who lost 31-5 to Oilers on matchday 1 of the season.

Oilers started well going 5-7 up but Philip Kwame went over taking Nakuru 12-7 up at the interval.

Oilers pulled one back after the break but Nakuru were awarded a penalty try after Derrick Keyoga denied Gramwel Bunyasi a try-scoring chance through a neck tackle.

Okwemba would score another one for Oilers to bring the visitors within two points at 19-17 and would lure the missed conversion as that would remain the fulltime score.

Four points mean Nakuru move to fifth on 33 points leapfrogging Oilers to sixth who now have 31 after picking a losing bonus.

Mwamba bounced back to winning ways to beat Blak Blad 15-14 at Strathmore University.

Kulabu sit seventh n 29 points as Blak Blad’s point sees them stay 10th on 14, four behind Quins who lost 3-48 to Homeboyz.
