Nakuru Kiti bag first win; Kitale dismiss Eldoret RFC

Nakuru Kiti bagged their first win of the season in the Rift Valley Nationwide league beating hosts Molo RFC 54-14 on Saturday.

Kiti was first to cross the line through Victor Macheda but the conversion went wide. Molo hit back through a converted try to lead 7-5 at the interval.

In the second half Barnabas Osoro who made his first debut for Kiti crossing over before Molo hit back again to retain the two points lead.

Okello Lawrence bagged a hat-trick with successful conversions from Mesa (Panzu) that put Kiti on the lead at 33-14, three more tries came from Allan Mugita,  Victor Mesa and Joseph Wangige respectively with a successful conversion from Mesa that saw the game end 54-14 in favour of Kiti. 

Kitale RFC recorded a second win of the season as they beat Eldoret RFC 21-8. Fullback Ramah Wafula had two converted tries in the first half as Caleb Kipsogei slotted in a penalty for Eldoret RFC.

Leonard Kamati converted Darltone Situma’s try in the second half for Kitale as Eric Nyangoya’s try for Eldoret was not enough for a comeback.

KPA Eldoret received a walkover from Kapsabet.
