Kenya Cup side Mwamba RFC have acquired Modern Coast Bus Company as their new transport partners for the next one year.

The deal, signed in early August, will see Modern Coast transport Mwamba RFC(Men, Women and Age-grade) to all their matches and activities. These include the Sevens circuit, Kenya Cup, Enterprise, Mwamba Cup and any other tournament and matches.

Fantastic deal

Modern Coast has also given Mwamba sh2 million as part of the sponsorship with the new Kulabu shirts set to bear the transport company’s name.

The bus is a 62-seater and will see fans also travel with the team during the league matches as well as other special groups.

Mwamba RFC president Alphas Onguru says, “It’s a fantastic deal, it’s everything we wanted and it comes as a huge boost. Going to Western and other parts of the Country is always a challenge for teams but we are now grateful for this”

“We are always happy to sponsor local talent. It’s also selling our brand and it’s a win-win situation. We hope to continue the talents in future”, said Modern Coast’s Jared Ombongi.

Mwamba will collaborate with Modern Coast in carrying their CSR programmes in various parts of the country beginning with Mombasa where they will hold a rugby festival.
