Mombasa RFC will miss four key players in their Kenya Cup opener against Impala Saracens on Saturday, November 25, 2017.
The Championship runners-up travel to Nairobi without fly-half Elvis Namusasi, Said Kenya, Sydney Mukudi and Sammy Maraga who miss out with injuries.
Namusasi, Kenya and Mukudi are nursing knee injuries while Mukudi has a back injury.
Eighth-man Benjamin Erukan will captain Mombasa with Henry ‘Rhino’ Omindo and Wayne Omondi starting as the day’s props.
Scrum-half Dennis Ngagi, Fly-half Gabriel Makatiani and wingers Ian Njoroge and Nick Lewa are named to start with Ted Owuor starting at fullback.
