MMUST bag first win, Monks up to second

MMUST bagged their first win of the season in the KRU Championship as they beat UoE Trojans 17-10 at home on Sat Dec 1, 2018.

MMUST are one of the promoted sides in the Championship after two failed starts they bagged their inaugural win which takes them two places up.

Flanker Brian Njeru was named the man of the match as Kenya 7s international Timothy Mmasi, Felix Wamocho and Okwemba got on the scoresheet.

UoE were able to run in ta converted try and bag a losing point.

Catholic Monks moved to second after beating visiting Ngong RFC 16-6.

Due to Kisumu’s defeat to Kisii RFC, Monks swap places with the lake-side outift with the former having 13 points.

Winston Saidi scored the only try for Monks with other points coming from the boot.
