Mean Machine chairman Steve Obonyo is calling on fans to come out in large numbers and support his side as they take on Western Bulls in the Championship semifinal on Saturday April 28, 2018 at the University of Nairobi from 4pm.
Machine are on the verge of Kenya Cup promotion and any win will see them return to where 'they belong'.
"The team is in very good spirits heading into the game and the boys fired up for this fixture. Mean machine respects the opponents for they are a good side going by their impressive results over the course of the season," said Obonyo.
The clash comes 10 days after Machine lost 8-6 at the Bull ring. In spite of the lose a losing bonus point guaranteed the students a home semifinal that they now hope to ride on to turn tables on Bulls.
"The boys have trained really hard for this game with the loss two weeks ago an eye opener and a chance to learn from where we fell short."
"I urge Machine old boys and all of Mean Machine supporters to show up for the game and cheer the team as their support would help in lifting the morale of the boys."
Obonyo has described the game as the biggest of the season against a Western Bulls side that they were relegated alongside in 2017.
"We respect Bulls as opponents but we are ready to play what is the biggest game of our season thus far," he concluded.
The winner of this tie will meet either Menengai Oilers or Kisumu RFC - contestants of the other semi final, in the Cup final.
