KRU Championship: Six sides in both playoff and relegation battle

With only two rounds to go in the KRU Championship regular season, race for playoffs is as tight as the relegation battle. 

Eight teams are in contention for three playoffs places while six can still be relegated. Kisii RFC has already been relegated as they are 12th on 9 points with 11th placed Eldoret RFC are on 21. 

South Coast Pirates sit sixth on 31 points, 10 above Eldoret RFC meaning they not assured playoff yet and still not safe from relegation. 

USIU, Northern Suburbs, UoE Trojans, Catholic Monks, Mombasa and Eldoret occupy positions 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 on 32, 29, 25, 23, 22 and 21 points respectively. 

Strathmore Leos and MMUST have already sealed home semifinals while Mean Machine secured third place. 

Mombasa RFC travel to Nairobi to face unstoppable Strathmore Leos, Catholic Monks visit Mean Machine, Northern Suburbs host South Coast Pirates, UoE Trojans head to USIU, MMUST host Kisii and Eldoret host Egerton Wasps.
