Championship top five teams are set to meet each other when action resumes on Saturday January 12 across the Country.

Table toppers USIU, 21, host fifth placed Kisumu RFC in Nairobi with the latter sitting just five points behind, equivalent of a bonus win.

Second placed Western Bulls, 19, travel to Nairobi to play third placed CatholicĀ Monks are just a point below them.

Table standing is likely to change by the end of matchday 6 as all five teams seek to secure a semifinal slot. Kisii RFC, who are fourth with 17 points, head to Mombasa who desperately need a win to chase a playoff spot.

Bottom placed South Coast Pirates continue to seek their first win of the season after five consecutiveĀ defeats that leaves them at the relegation horizon. They host a motivated MMUST who have registered two wins to sit 7th with nine points.

Kitale RFC will visit Ngong RFC, who occupy the last slot of the playoff, while last match of the matchday will feature a Rift derby between Egerton Wasps and UoE Trojans in Nakuru.

Wasps, sitting 9th with eight points, are only four above UoE who are 11th.
