The Kenya U20 team to play at the 2018 Barthes Cup has been named by head coach Paul Odera on Tuesday March 20, 2018 at RFUEA grounds.

Impala Saracens scrumhalf Xavier Bett will captain the side to Namibia with the team set to leave on Monday.

Homeboyz backrow Stanley Isogol is the assistant captain with Anduvate being the second assistant.

Derrick Keyoga, Allan Aziz and Dennis Lusweti are named as the non travelling subs.

The national U20 team, Chipu, will be out to return to the World Rugby Junior Trophy for the first time since Kenya hosted it in 2009. They will need to emerge victorious at the Rugby Africa U20 Championships which take place in March.

The U20 South zone winner will then face the U20 North zone for the overall African title, and with it qualification to the 2018 World Rugby Junior Trophy which is the second tier of global competition at the U20 level.
