Kenya 7s squad to Hamilton and Sydney 7s will be named on Wednesday by assistant coach Kevin Wambua in Nakuru.

Shujaa are in Nakuru for a three-day camp at Moi Showgrounds, Menengai Oilers’ home.

The pitch session on Wednesday runs from 8.30am to 10.30am after which Wambua will name the squad for the third and fourth legs of 2020 HSBC World Sevens Series.

Oscar Ouma, Sammy Oliech and Dennis Ombachi have since rejoined the team while Oscar Dennis has recovered from injury suffered at Dubai 7s.

The men’s event at Hamilton 7s sees the hosts and current joint series leaders the All Blacks Sevens drawn with Scotland, USA and Wales in Pool A.

Fellow joint series leaders South Africa, who were victorious in Dubai, will take on Kenya, England and invitational team Japan in Pool B.

Third placed France will be looking to keep their strong run of form going as they face Ireland, Canada and Spain in Pool C, while reigning Olympic and Series champions Fiji will play Argentina, Australia and Samoa in Pool D.
