For a second straight year Kenya Lionesses and South Africa will contest the Africa Cup final, this time at the Police Ground - Harare, Zimbabwe after both posted wins in their respective semis on Sunday 18 September, 2016.
South Africa booked a place in their fourth straight final with a 29-5 win over Uganda and were followed in by the Lionesses who rode on a 12-5 half time lead to registered a comprehensive 31-5 beating of host Zimbabwe.
Lionesses, now under the dispensation of Kevin Wambua will hope to erase a close 14-10 loss to South Africa in Machakos in 2014 and 31-5 loss in the final of 2015, when they face off later in the day in the final.
The Lionesses came through day one with straight wins over Madagascar, Uganda and Tunisia

Last year, in the contest that doubled up as Olympic qualifiers, Lionesses had no answer for the host team South Africa to originally miss out on a place at the Olympics - before fortuitously making it through after their foes pulled out.
