Kenya 7s to name 2020 squad

Kenya 7s coach Paul Feeney is set to name his squad of the 2020 HSBC World Sevens Series on Thursday at Quins.

Kenya will kick-off the 2020 season with Dubai 7s set for December 5, 2019 against South Africa.

Kenya will then play their remaining group games on Friday 6th December, starting with England at 12:26pm before wrapping up against Spain at 6:32pm. 

Feeney is boosted by the return of senior players who missed last season. These include the likes of Collins Injera, Willy Ambaka, Andrew Amonde(partially) and Billy Odhiambo.

Shujaa resumed their training session on Monday 18th November after taking an eight day break after their successful Tokyo Olympics Qualifiers’ outing on 8th and 9th November in Johannesburg South Africa. Shujaa secured their 2020 Olympics spot by lifting the Africa Men’s 7s title in Johannesburg.

Dubai 7s pooling:
Pool A: Fiji, France, Argentina, Japan 
Pool B: USA, Australia, Scotland, Ireland 
Pool C: New Zealand, Samoa, Canada, Wales 
Pool D: South Africa, England, Spain, Kenya
