Kenya Sevens players and technical bench were on Sunday presented with seasonal awards at the closure of national sevens circuit at Kenya Harlequin's RFUEA Grounds.
The awards recognized outstanding performance by Kenya 7s boys through-out the 2017/18 HSBC World Sevens Series that ended in June.
Oscar Ouma's try at Vancouver 7s semifinal against USA to take Kenya to the cup final was voted the try of the season by fellow Kenya 7s players. Billy Odhiambo's offload against Canada at Hong Kong 7s was named the off-load of the season
Kenya ended up eighth with a record 104 points, surpassing the century point barrier for the first time ever.

KCB's Arthur Owira was named the rookie of the year while Collins Injera got the Shujaa Mzee wa Kazi award. Physio Lameck Bogonko was given the outstanding service technical support team award.
"This was to recognize excellence to our players which rarely happens. After that good season it's good to award these boys," said team manager Eric Ogweno.
Team spirit award was shared between Homeboyz' centre Jeff Oluoch -music and choreography, and Collins Injera -for giving every player a pair of boots.
Best try celebration was also shared between Arthur Owira(Shake my dreds) and Collins Injera(Wakanda Forever) as Mwamba's Daniel Taabu got the academy award.
Kenya Sevens is expected to start training this September ahead of October's Africa 7s, November's Safari 7 and Dubai 7s in December.
