Kenya 7s pick four points at Dubai 7s

Kenya 7s finished 13th at Dubai 7s, the opening leg of the HSBC World Sevens Series 2019/20 after beating Scotland 26-14 on Sat Dec 7.

Kenya picked four points ahead of next week’s Cape Town 7s on South Africa. Dan Skuta, Vincent Onyala, Johnstone Olindi and Alvin Otieno scored for Shujaa with Daniel Taaby adding three conversions.

Under the new HSBC World Sevens Series format, 3rd and 4th placed after pool matches drop to playoff finals where they play only one game.

Kenya 7s lost all pool matches going down 22-19 to Spain after losing 12-5 to England and Thursday's 17-12 defeat to South Africa.
