Geoffrey Kimani has been re-appointed as Kenya Sevens strength and conditioning coach, a statement from Kenya Rugby Union said.
Kimani returns after one year to take the position left by Englishman Ian Gibbons who quit just after two months.
Kenya Sevens are expected to start training ahead of 20-17/2018 HSBC World Sevens Series that starts in December with Dubai 7s.
Africa Cup Sevens is set for October in Uganda a time the national sevens circuit will be on-going. Kenya will also host Safari 7s in November before heading out to Dubai and Cape Town sevens.
The 2017/2018 season has also Commonwealth games in Gold Coast while the much anticipated Sevens World will take place in July in the USA.
Kimani was in-charge of Uganda Sevens ion their run to Hong Kong 7s where they were seeking core status but did not qualify losing in the semis.
He is also a Level 4 sprints coach who coached Kenyan team to the 2015 World Championships.
Alongside Benjamin Ayimba, Paul Murunga and Lameck Bogonko, Kimani helped Kenya 7s win first ever cup in the World sevens series.
